SOME THINGS TO KNOW:

1. With a Cable Box there are different types Channels.
* Analog channels: 2 through 199
* Digital channels: 200 through 499
* Music channels: 500 through 600
* HD channels: 700 through 999

For example channel 4 will now be best viewed on channel 804 (the HD version of channel 4).

2. BARS on the side of the picture
are seen when a HD channel is showing a non-wide screen picture. You will see these bars come and go depending on how the commercial or program is made. It is the channel itself that's putting in those black bars. In other words, those black bars are part of the feed from the TV station.

3. CLEANING of Flat-panel TVs
should only be done with a screen cleaning kit or the supplied cloth that came with the TV if available.

3a. Windex and other house hold cleaning
solutions are abrasive and will ruin your new TV.

4. We highly recommend investing in a SURGE PROTECTOR
with a minimum suppression of AC protection of 150V RMS and a Clamping of 1200 joules. The combination of blackouts, brownouts, surges and line noise can cause equipment damage and degradation of components and performance over time, leading to costly component repair or replacement.
